- Game farm - hunting and photographic safaris, walks identifying birds and trees.
- Game viewing in open vehicle. Bring walking shoes and hats and neutral bush clothes
- Supply own food and beverages. Fully equipped kitchen, informal cooking area (gasbraai) and lapa with braai area.
- Map supplied for safari network 4x4 trails
- Game viewing and bird watching. Bring binoculars, photographic equipment, bird books

Khangela Lodge is an idyllic wedding venue perched high on the Magudu mountain. Your guests will simply adore the venue's spectacular view across the Zululand bush and the Lebombo mountains.Tugam can host events of 10 to 80 guests, depending on the type of function required. Catering is provided on request.

Khangela Lodge is also ideal for conferencing, training, work shops & other functions as the surroundings are peaceful and elegant.
Khangela Lodge
There are three accommodation options for families and related groups. The Khangela Lodge is perched high on the mountain with the most magnificent view across the Zululand bush and the Lebombo mountains as a backdrop. It has a spacious deck with a jacuzzi to cool off in the heat of the day, a spacious lounge cum dining area, a kitchen and informal cooking area under a magnificent thatched structure.
There are 3 x 4 bed family chalets with loft upstairs and en-suite bathrooms.
There are 2x2 bed huts on-suite and 2x4 bed huts (2 single and 2 small single beds) sharing ablution facilities.
Tambotie Safari Camp
Safari enthusiast are accommodated in safari camp, called Tambotie Grove. The basic necessities (bucket showers, enviro loos and a bush scullery) are in place to complement the bush environment and where guests can either pitch surface or roof tents. The camp can accommodate a maximum number of 16 persons plus 4 vehicles maximum.
Matumi Bush Camp
Three 2 bed thatched chalets with en-suite bathrooms. Set under a thick canopy of trees,with excellent bird life. Fully equipped kitchen thatched lapa with rockbraai, and open braai facilities.

Area activities
Deep in the Zululand bush one will find the Tugam Game farm. It has a variety of game, including Giraffe, Rhino, Zebra, Nyala, Kudu, Impala and many more. Many indigenous trees and excellent bird- life complements this bush retreat. There is also a safari network of more than 75 km of off-road tracks. To enhance your chance to spot the game close-by guests can walk on the farm and stop at several of the hides at the dams to spot both game and water birds. The routes have been designed to link two distinctive valleys via a network of experience orientated 4x4 trails. It is situated on the eastern slopes of the Magudu hills steeped in natural beauty and cultural history. It is in a marginal malaria zone. No visit will go by without having seen most of the resident herds which include Red Hartebeest, Rhino, Bushbuck, Giraffe, Nyala and Zebra amongst others. Bird hides have been erected at the waterholes and all trees and shrubs are identified from the camps from where walking trails can be done. There are four routes which have been designed by Ecotourism Afrika to highlight the many facets of this unique reserve and to maximise photographic and game viewing opportunities.
